Asherman Syndrome, Uterus Scar Tissue and Getting Pregnant
I have been diagnosed with Asherman syndrome. How does this condition develop and will I ever be able to have kids?
Can I use a natural approach before going through surgery? My doctor told me that I could wait, but not too long. I had a D & C after a still birth pregnancy.
Can this be the cause?
As I think about my situation and the possibility of more surgery I feel stressed out and very concerned.
Please advise a natural approach to this condition if possible. I want to try it first.
Asherman syndrome is the formation of scar tissue inside the uterus, which develop after uterine surgery.
This condition is not very common and it seems to occur in women who have had many D & C surgeries. In other cases, pelvic infections can be the cause.
The most common agents of infections that can cause Asherman syndrome are schistosomiasis or TB.
The typical symptoms associated with Asherman syndrome is that the scar tissue or adhesions cause lack of menstrual period and recurrent pregnancy loss.
If the symptoms occur suddenly after D & C or uterine surgery they indicate Asherman syndrome.
Conventional medicine offers surgery as a type of treatment for this condition.
This can usually be done with hysteroscopy, which is a procedure that involves using a small instruments and a camera through the cervix to reach the uterus to remove the scar tissue.
After the procedure a course of estrogen to rebuild the uterine lining and antibiotics to prevent infections can be recommended.
Some women may need more than one procedure to restore fertility and allow a healthy pregnancy. Successful pregnancy depends on the severity of Asherman syndrome.
Complications of hysteroscopic surgery are uncommon and include bleeding, tearing of the uterus, and pelvic infection.
Call your doctor if your periods are not back yet.
If you want to try a natural approach to eliminating the scar tissue in your uterus and
reproductive organs naturally I would recommend trying the following natural protocol. STEP 1: Fertility cleanse
to help your uterus eliminate as much as possible the debris left behind and provide healing tonic support.
It is recommended to follow this cleanse for at least 1-2 months. This fertility cleanse is designed to have two phases the liver phase, where you will be cleansing your liver helping improve hormone metabolism.
And a second phase, which is the uterine phase, where you will be taking herbs that support the lining of the uterus.STEP 2: Enzyme therapy with Wobenzym N
to reduce the amount of scar tissue still in the reproductive system caused by endometriosis, STD's, surgeries such as C-sections, tube reversal surgery, PID, and other abdominal surgery.
This enzyme blend eliminates the fibrin, which makes up scar and adhesion.STEP 3: Women’s Best Friend
herbal blend to provide anti-inflammatory, anti-parasitic, anti-viral and anti-bacterial action.
These herbs increase blood circulation to the uterus and support healthy immune system and women’s hormonal balance.STEP 4: Self Fertility Massage
to help break up adhesions and eliminate excess remaining scar tissue.
Self-Fertility Massage techniques increase circulation which will assist in excess tissue elimination, help to reduce inflammation throughout the reproductive system, and help the body to soften tight and twisted tissues.STEP 5: Castor Oil
therapy with packs applications to assist in increasing circulation and healing organs and tissues beneath the skin.
Castor oil packs should be applied before doing self-fertility massage to help soften the tissues and increase circulation in the uterus before massage.
I hope this helps you.
