I will show you how I make my two most favorite smoothies and my delicious vegetable juice. They are all easy to make and the ingredients are easily available virtually anywhere. They can be taken by both man and women and they are good for man to increase sperm quality (DNA, morphology, count and motility) and for women to improve egg quality and trigger ovulation.

A number of studies have shown how a good dietary intake of antioxidants and micronutrients is critically important in fertility and to establish a healthy reproductive function in both males and females.

How To Make a Fertility Smoothie

This recipe is for two. Get the fertility smoothis kit and blend the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of frozen fruit or better fresh, if in season and organic (mangoes, berries, or peaches)
  • 75ml of liquid beverage (rice milk or almond milk)
  • ½ teaspoon of organic vanilla extract to add flavor (optional)
  • 2 scoops (30g) of whole food antioxidant powder coming from 100% berries (goji, acai, pomegranate, mangosteen, cranberry, strawberry, acerola berry, and more) with no added synthetic minerals or vitamins). You can find this at any health food store.
  • 2 scoops (30g) of green coming from a bland of spirinula, wheatgrass, barley grass, kelp, deluse and more (with no added synthetic minerals and vitamins)
  • 2 bananas (this makes your fertility smoothie very smooth and gives it a good taste)
  • 1/3 cup of yogurt or kefier (if you like it)
  • 1 table spoon of bee pollen
  • 1 table spoon of honey (best if raw)
  • 2 table spoons of almond or cashew butter.
  • 1tables spoon of flax seed oil or hemp oil (optional). You may not like the flavor so much, but it is great for you, add smaller amounts until you get used to the taste.

Note:If you want a creamy texture, add yogurt. If your smoothie is too thick, you can use freshly squeezed juice or water to make it thinner. Fruits are generally sweet enough, but if you want your smoothie a little sweeter, add a little honey or maple syrup (do not use sugar or corn syrup).

Tip:If you find good organic berries or fruits, you can cut them in pieces and store them in your freezer for a couple of weeks. Cut your fruits into smaller pieces and spread them out on a plate and leave them in the freezer for two hours. This will prevent the fruits from sticking together. Once frozen, put them in freezer bag.

I have also tried dried fruits like raisins, dates, mangoes or apricot slices. They work great especially during the winter time when it is hard to find fresh fruit. Remember to soak them in purified water overnight to soften.

Fertility Smoothie Replacement Meal

Smoothies are not necessarily limited to fruits, vegetables and juices. You may also add other healthful ingredients. They really may make up for a substitute meal. The following smoothie is high in fiber and will keep you from overeating and help you keep you blood glucose under control.

  • 1 Cup of cream of wheat or spelt (wait until it is cool)
  • 1 cup of oats (soak them in hot water and then let them cool off)
  • 2 table spoons of almond or cashew butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, or cocoa, or vanilla (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of raw honey
  • 1-2 teaspoons of bee pollen
  • Add rice or almond liquid beverage to make 75 ml
  • 2 teaspoon of acidophilus powder

When to Take your Smoothie

Drink your smoothies within 10-15 minutes of blending them to take full advantage of the nutrients before they oxidize and turn your smoothie brown in color. After 20 minutes, your smoothie will loose all the power of its live nutrients like enzymes.

Juicing for Fertility

The following recipe is not a smoothie but a home made fresh juice that it will help increase your fertility if taken daily. Juicing is another healthy way to add minerals, vitamins and live enzymes to your diet by consuming whole raw foods.

Juicing is one of the best way to consume high quantity of raw vegetables, while smoothie better for fruit consumption.

You need a juicer that is very good at extracting the juice and does not produce a lot of leftover vegetable material. Also, one that does not overheat because is best in order to avoid damaging the nutrients content of vitamins and minerals and the bioactivity of enzymes.

Wash carefully the following fruits and vegetables, do not peat them if they are organically grown. Juice them by adding them one at the time into your juicer. If you have a good juicer you can put a whole small size apple and 3 or more carrots at the time. Do not add the ginger root last because it may not juice entirely.

  • 4 apples
  • 2 beets
  • 1 cm long ginger root
  • 4 apples
  • 4 celery stalks

After you run your ingredients through your juicer, drink right away!

Note:The amount you will produce will depend by the size of your fruits and vegetables. Make sure you make at least a 8 oz. glass per person.

I hope you will take the time to tried these recipes and most of all, I hope you will enjoy them!

"The foods you consume greatly impact the delicate acid-alkaline, or pH balance of your body. Animal products, grains, alcohol, coffee and salt cause your system to become more acidic. By contrast, fruits, vegetables, and essential fatty acids help to alkalize your body."
