I have taken Clomid since about two months ago. First month my follicles size grow 7mm-11mm, but this month my follicle size remain at 11mm. Which medicine should I use for my follicle development?

The production of follicles depends on 5 main hormones.
1. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) secreted by the hypothalamus.
2. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secreted by the hypothalamus.
3. Luiteinizing hormone (LH) secreted by the hypothalamus.
4. Estrogen secreted by the ovaries
5. Progesterone secreted by the ovaries and adrenal glands.

These 5 hormone work together to trigger ovulation. GnRH stimulates the release of FSH and LH from the anterior pituitary gland. This stimulates the follicle growth. If anyone of these hormones is out of balance the entire system will not work properly.

Vitex Agnus Castus is also recommended to increase follicle size, but this herb cannot be taken while on Clomid. Talk to your doctor about the possible side effects of Clomid on your ovarian reserve and long term use of this drug.
