Getting Pregnant While On The Pill
I'm taking oral contraception pills to prevent pregnancy, but not at the same time and I had sex on my periods, so is there a possibility of me getting pregnant?
Birth control pills supress ovulation and thus prevent pregnancy, but in order to maintain this suppression, you need to be consistent in your taking.
When you miss taking your birth control pills you may cause ovulation to occur and when this happens you can get pregnant. If you had sex on your periods you should not get pregnant.
