Herbal Remedies For Fertility

Herbal Formulas For Women

Herbal remedies for fertility have been used for centuries with the purpose of stimulating ovulation, cleansing the uterus and balancing the female hormonal system. If used wisely, herbal remedies for fertility can be very safe and effective. Herbal preparations are made using herb's roots, flowers, bark and fruits. Herbal therapies are available in tea, capsules, or tincture form making them popular for all types of individuals. The best way to take herbal supplements is to prepare them yourself or to trust a good company that prepares the herbal remedies. Remember, not all herbal remedies for fertility are made equal.

I like FertiliTea because its ingredients are safe if you are trying to conceive and can help increase your fertility in a very gentle and effective way. FertiliTea, Designed by Amos Grunebaum, MD, an internationally recognized fertility expert, supports the entire reproductive system and helps increase your chances of conceiving a healthy baby. All the ingredients are organic and wildcrafted, safe to take while trying to conceive.

The reason why I like this tea is because it's a loose-leaf tea that provides added nutritional support. You get important minerals and plant nutrients from the herbs in this tea as they transfer these nutrients into the water infusion when you prepare the tea. Make sure to use filtered water and not tap water as this contains chlorine and heavy metals, which will reduce the uptake of these important nutrients.

If you suffer from hormonal imbalance like high FSH and low progesterone, a fertility tincture like Fertile-XX may be stronger in its action. Fertile XX is an excellent fertility herbal remedy for women because it is very effective in stimulating and supporting ovulation and regulating the menstrual cycle.

How Are Herbal Remedies For Fertility Made?

Herbal tinctures are made by extracting the healing components of the herbs using a solution of alcohol and water. Herbal teas are also called infusions or tisanes because the healing properties of the herbals components are extracting by boiling water. Tinctures and herbal teas are both very effecting in supporting healing and normalizing the reproductive function. Herbal tinctures seem to be stronger, more therapeutic and you need to take less of it. Herbal teas are soothing and help maintain hydration within the body.

You can also make your own herbs for fertility bland. In this case, search for herbs that are grown organically and that have been subjected to strict quality control and manufacturing processes. Herbal remedies made in certain countries may not be safe, so be aware of products made with the sole intent to profit by selling cheap and poor quality ingredients!

How To Make Fertility Herbal Remedies At Home

The following herbal remedies for fertility can be taken in a combination tincture or as an infusion tea. I like to purchase my herbs bulk and make my own infusions. It gives me a sense of power because I am taking care of myself. Also I know that the quality of the herbs is good and I always look for organically grown or wild crafted herbs.

Liver Tonic Decoction

Stimulating Herbs For Women

Follicular Phase
(from day 1 to day 14 or ovulation)

During this time, a mature follicle is developing in your ovary under the influence of the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secreted by the pituitary gland. The ovarian follicle contains a mature egg, which is released during ovulation around day 14 of your cycle. Herbal remedies for fertility are very important in regulating the luteal phase thus increasing your chances of getting pregnant and stay pregnant.

1 part Siberian ginseng root
2 parts Damiana herb

Luteal Phase
(from day 14 or ovulation to day 28 or end of cycle)

This herbal formula stimulates the production of progesterone. During this phase the egg moves through the Fallopian tube, where it can be fertilized, to the uterus. If this phase is short, the fertilized egg does not have enough time to implant itself in the lining of the uterine cavity and it may end up in a miscarriage. This herbal formula can assist those who suffer from luteal phase defect.
