Is use of herbal tampons increases risk of infection for female reproduction organs?

I am woman that struggling with blocked fallopian tubes and TTC almost 9 years, not successfully. I have used herbs, Castor oli pack, self fertility massage and seldom practice yoga. I want to try herbal tampons too, but I doubt if it increases risk of infection for my reproduction organ.

Can you show me about success stories any women that conceive naturally with blocked fallopian tubes? Thanks for your reply.

Hi Siti,

Herbal tampons are safe especially because they contain herbs that are supposed to prevent and clear any infection.

They can be effective in most cases where the block is caused by debris and scar tissue, but there is no 100% grantee that it works in every case.

There are many natural methods for blocked fallopian tubes and you have used quite a few yourself. The location and the cause of the block are different from every case, so not all cases can be compared.

If you want to know about successful women who used herbal tampon to clear blocked fallopian tubes go online and ask around in fertility forums, these are the best and most honest type of success stories.

I would recommend consulting with a professional herbalist in your area since you have tried a lot of things on your own with little success.

Maria, is it safe to leave a tampon 24 hours in our vagina? My Obgyn doesn't recommend for use it. According to your experience, what is success stories for herbal tampons? Please tell me about it so i don't doubt to use herbal tampons. Thanks a lot of.

It is important that you follow the advice of your doctor. Medically a tampon, should be replaced regularly for fear of Toxic shock syndrome (TSS, which is a serious but uncommon infection caused by either Staphylococcus aureus bacteria or by streptococcus bacteria.

This condition is linked to the use of tampons that are not changed frequently during a period.

When using a tampon to unblock fallopian tubes, you are not using it during your period and it is impregnated of antiseptic agents from the herbs.
Chamomile, calendula, goldenseal, pau d'arco and tea tree oil are known to have antimicrobial, antiseptic properties that prevent bacteria and candida growth.


Some women used it for 12 hours instead of 24. This makes them feel better. Then after a few days when they begin to see that after douching, debris come out, they feel more comfortable in doing the tampon treatment longer.

Another option is to get the FollowpianWise Kit. This kit does not use tampon or douching and it still provides results.

I have been struggling for year with blocked fallopian tubes, I have bought and used 2 packs of kit I bought for unblocking fallopian tubes yet it did not work for me, thou I have not tried massage with castor oil or any oral herb. What do you suggest I should do?
