How To Apply Castor Oil Packs
I would like to know how to apply the castor oil packs and what kind of castor oil to use.
You should use 100% cold pressed Castor oil.
Make sure to start each session on an empty stomach or two hours after eating.
Make sure to empty your bladder before the pack as you will not be able to move for 45-90 minutes. How To Apply Castor oil Packs :
To make a castor pack you will need:
Cold pressed castor oil
Heating pad, magic bag, or hot water bottle
Cotton flannel cloth
Get a piece of soft flannel cloth, like those used to make receiving baby blankets.
Soak the flannel piece in castor oil, generally about 1 cup of castor oil will be enough. Place it over your whole abdomen. Alternately, you can just spread a generous layer of castor oil directly on your skin and cover with the flannel piece.
On top of the cloth place a piece of plastic and on top of that place a heating pad, magic bag or a water bottle. Place a towel on top of everything and relax for about 45-90 minutes.
Once the time is up remove the cloth and wipe the oil on your skin.
If you are trying to conceive it is recommended to do castor oil packs 3-4 times a week for an entire month before trying to conceive.
While actively trying to conceive, make sure to do castor oil packs up until ovulation. If you conceive, the heat can damage the developing embryo.
Also, make sure to avoid castor oil packs during your menses.
Castor oil packs are very beneficial when done in conjunction with Self-fertility massage
