How to get pregnant fast is what many women want to know. I hear this all the time. You can definitely increase your chances of getting pregnant by following a healthy diet, taking fertility vitamins, sipping your daily fertility tea, doing fertility yoga, fertility meditation, affirmations, etc. Getting pregnant is in many ways still a mystery. This does not mean you should not learn how to get pregnant in a practical way. In fact, this is what many women need to learn. It means that the human body is capable of great things, we all know stories of women who got pregnant against all odds and you should never lose hope.
I think sometimes we all forget about the spiritual aspect of how to get pregnant and forget to honour our life as a soul journey. What we struggle to achieve the most is often our most important teaching. Getting pregnant is a learning process that can only enrich us and bring us to a higher level of our human experience. It would be nice if you could just get pregnant the moment you decide to. If that were true, you would have learned anything, you would have not taken better care of your body, you would have not bonded with your husband at a deeper level, you would have not learned pain, suffering, sadness and despair, but at the same time, you would not have learned what it feels to be ecstatically joyful and happy.
If you are not pregnant after months or years of trying and want to know how to get pregnant naturally all you need is a little extra information to help you get pregnant! This extra information is really nothing more than simply learning how to listen to your body's fertility signs. If you are following everybody's advice, you are missing the point. The point is: "Listen To Your Own Body!" Sometimes women are just missing their ovulation day because they do not know when they "really" ovulate. It all comes down to how your body works and you are the only one who can listen!
How to Get Pregnant: Your Changes
Every months, you have 20% chance of getting pregnant even if you do everything right. That's just nature. Couples that are healthy with no fertility issues should conceive within 6 months of trying. In fact 80% of women conceive within this time period, while 90% of women do within one year.
How to Get Pregnant: Your Age
Age is definitely a factor: the younger and the healthier you are, the higher your chances of getting pregnant quickly. But age is not all. Age should be associated with an optimum state of health. Medical reports show that women in general become less fertile between age 35 and 39. I believe that women can be very fertile in their thirties and forties if they are healthy. Your chronological age not necessary has to match your biological age if you look after yourself. If you are in this age range, you can increase the quality of your eggs and sperm by taking anti-oxidants, fertility vitamins and fertility herbs, thus making your biological age work in your favor.
How to Get pregnant: The Theory
Clearly there is more to making a baby them making love. What I mean is that the body (male and female) has to do an intense amount of work to achieve pregnancy when we look at the physiological aspect of this process. For example, the sperm has to travel for very long distances before reaching the egg. The sperm journey toward the egg is a difficult one. After the egg is releases, the sperm cells have only a small window of opportunity, just 12-24 hours, to fertilize it. Likely the sperm can live in the woman's reproductive tract for up to 3, even 5 days. Another important aspect of reproduction is gametogenesis, the formation of gametes (egg and sperm). When you examine this important yet delicate process that takes about 4 months to occur, you realize that it is a real miracle every time a couple conceives a child!
How to Get Pregnant: The Practice
Learning the biology of reproduction allows you to apply in practice what you have learned about how the human body functions. Your body works in a unique way, so after you have mastered the theory, you need to apply it to your specific menstrual cycle and fertility signs. You can find many tips on how to get pregnant fast: do this, don't do that. Follow them, but always keep in mind your own body physiology. Focus on yourself. What has worked for others may work for you, in most cases. But if it doesn't, you need to find your own way.
Here are my tips on how to get pregnant. Take note, try my advice, but ultimately make your own life changes. Please, do not worry about the amount of time it is going to take. Warring about time creates only more limitations.
10 Ways to Get Pregnant Naturally
1. Making Love
Making love to have a baby should be a wonderful experience. Do not turn lovemaking into babymaking! This is a mistake many women make when trying to conceive. They are so into the timing, the cervical mucus tracking, the basal body temperature measuring, the ferning pattern observing, etc., that they forget that making love should be fun, exciting and most of all enjoyable. By forcing your husband to have sex because it is time, you will create a stressful situation that can decrease his sperm count! Do not forget that he is 50% of the picture here. I say this because, so many women who try to conceive focus everything onto themselves, their body and forget about the future father of the baby. Create a wonderful feeling between you and your partner: make him want to get you pregnant and not vice versa!
2. Frequency
Make love every two days during your fertile period, not every day. This increases the amount of sperm released during intercourse. Make sure you ovulate between day 12-16 by charting your fertility. If you ovulate too late, let's say on day 17 or beyond, work by taking herbal remedies to regulate your menstrual cycle. The closer you ovulate to day 14, the healthier your eggs.
3. Position
Lying down on you back for at least 10 minutes after intercourse allows more sperm to stay in your reproductive tract. Raising you hips with a pillow also helps. Use the legs-up-the-wall yoga position. Also, use the missionary position, it's said to be the best for increasing your chances of getting pregnant. I think this is true only in couples where low sperm count is an issue.
4. Vaginal Health
Make sure you vaginal environment is sperm friendly. Avoid any kind to sprays, scented tampons (use only 100% organic cotton tampons). If you have yeast infection, take high amounts of acidophilus. Use acidophilus vaginally, follow a yeast free diet and take homeopathic remedy Candida to assist your body eliminate yeast. Make sure your partner does the same to prevent cross-infection. Treat naturally any pelvic inflammation or any vaginal infections by consulting with a homeopath or naturopath.
5. Fertility Mucus
Follow a healthy diet that increases the production of lots of fertile cervical mucus. There are also great vitamin supplements that can help you increase your vaginal fertile mucus. Keeping tract you your cervical mucus and other fertility signs through fertility charting is a must! This really comes down to having lots of clear stringy egg-white mucus during ovulation. You need to have a least 3-5 days of fertile mucus around the time you ovulate. The amount of fertile mucus allows the sperms to live longer and swim faster.
6. Fertility Foods
Avoid foods that affect your thyroid and insuline levels. Many foods inhibit ovulation like soy, peas, dairy, trans fats, alcohol, coffee, MSG, Aspartame, etc. Eat fertility foods that stimulate ovulation.

9. Be happy!
Do everything in you power to enjoy who you are. Remember you are complete as you are, having a baby is a gift of life, just like you are! Please, avoid negative thought and negative emotions like guilt or blame. They create chemical stress in your body and hinder your fertility. Resolve emotional conflicts within yourself and forgive your past. Be a loving parent to yourself!
10. Being a Parent
If you experience infertility and you are tired of trying, enjoy your life as it is. Expressing your creativity is a good way to channel all your loving energy. Maybe you are meant to be a parent but not naturally. Adopt a child. Parenting is a call, not matter how you become a parent! Children a creatures of this planet and belong to all of us. It is our responsibility to help earth raise its children. A woman, who adopted a child after years of infertility told me one day: "I was meant to be this child's mother since the beginning. If I had known this, I would have saved a lot of money and a lot of physical and emotional pain."
