Ways to Learn More About Your Fertility
by: Maria Gioia Atzori

I really doubt that you are infertile because you are you are under 30 and because you have been trying for only 4 months. Usually, a woman under 35, should be concerned about fertility problems if she is not pregnant after 12 months of trying.

There are a number of things you can do at home to learn more about your fertility:

1. Chart your cycle. I cannot stress this point hard enough to my client. There is so much you can learn about your fertility, simply by charting your cycle. Also, make sure to have sex just before you ovulate in order to increase your chances of conception. Read my article on fertility charting.

You can use a simple ovulation thermometer or an fertility monitor like ovacue. This should show you if you ovulate each month. In order to conceive you need to ovulate regularly.

2. The second, very important thing you need to know is that you have fertile mucus. If you ovulate but you do not have fertile mucus you will not get pregnant because the sperm will not be able to climb up and reach the egg. Fertile mucus creates highways to the sperm to swim and stay healthy until they reach their destination. The pH of your vagina should be alkaline to maintain the sperm healthy. If you have recurrent yeast infection, Candida may be a problem.

3. Does your male partner has high enough sperm count. For this you can test at home. Read my article on how to perform a home male sperm test.

4. If you have been on birth control pill, it might take time for your body to re-balance. You can help by doing a fertility cleanse and by taking fertility vitamins.

5. Consider homeopathic medicine to enhance your fertility. Read more about the homeopathic fertility program.
