Improving Sperm Quality
Are there natural ways to improve sperm quality? What changes in the diet would need to be made. Are there any particular herbs or supplements to take? Thanks you!
In order to improve sperm quality, it is important to avoid overheating the testicles by wearing loose underwear and by avoiding radio frequencies and electromagnetic radiation caused by cell phones and laptops.
Electromagnetic devises affect the DNA of our cells and especially those of germinal cells like eggs and sperm. I alwyas recommend anyone who is trying to conceive or that is suffering from infertility to keep cell phones (especially wifi) away from the body. It you really have to, keep your distance. But especially do not keep your cell phone on your body or in your pocket!
If you have a tablet or a laptop, keep it on a table not on your lap. Never use an Apple product when charging!
Radiation emitted by Wifi routers, wireless devices, and microwave ovens are the worst. Believe me, I had my home tested!
I know that you cannot completely eliminate these technology, but you can use it wisely by reducing exposure when not necessary and keep your distance.
Of course decrease or eliminate cigarette smoking and alcohol. For many years doctors are now warning pregnant women about alcohol and cigarette smoke during pregnancy. It also works while trying to conceive and for men, too!
In order to keep sperm healthy, it is important not to use female lubricants. These contain chemical spermicides. If you have to use lubricants use only pre-seed
, which is the only one specifically designed for conception, any other type dries up female cervical mucus and affects sperm health.
To prevent female and male hormonal problems,
get rid of plastic. The contaminant bisphenol-A (BPA), widely used to make many plastics found in food storage containers, can have long-term effects on fertility. Stop spraying your lawn with chemical pesticides, and avoid spraying bugs. These chemicals are known endocrine disruptors and affect both male and female fertility. Avoid them, when you can!
Most importantly, DO NOT MICROWAVE your food in plastic!
When selecting cleaning an dpersonal products, look for alternatives that are non-toxic. Also, avoid lead and mercury.Diet
The diet is also very important. Learn more about the fertility diet
