Ionic Foot Detox In Pregnancy

by Amanda

I have started doing the Ionic Foot detoxing. I have had fertility issues and also a miscarriage. I will be trying to conceive again at the end of this month but we are not preventing if it happens before.

So my question is.... Is this ok to do this kind of detox and not prevent pregnancy... would it be harmful or cause a miscarriage if I was to get pregnant before we actually try?

Hi Amanda,

I think that every type of detox can potentially be harmful to the developing embryo and it is best to avoid while trying to conceive and during pregnancy.

The ionic food detox consists of bathing your feet in warm water while using positive and negative ions from an ion generator, though the process of electrolysis of ionization of water molecules.

The electric current can affect a potential pregnancy.
Also people with a pacemaker or implants like steel plates or joint replacements should not use this type of cleansing.

Plan your sessions before trying to conceive.

Fertility Blessings!
