Is it ok to use moxa after embryo transfer

by Adriana ghazy
(Australia)

I had embryo transfer 6 days ago, is it ok to use moxa?

Answer:

Hi Adriana,

It is possible to use moxa during pregnancy by direct supervision of a licensed acupuncturist that specializes in assisting IVF patiens.

Every case is different and needs to be individually assessed.

Each woman needs a specific treatment base on her unique constitution.

Moxibustion has many function depending on how it is used.

1. Warming

2. Supplementing

3. Draning

Your acupuncturist will need to pick the right type for your case. Talk to your acupuncturist if you have any concerns.

Many Blessings!
