Increase Your Chances of Getting Pregnant Expert Advice on Natural Fertility | ||||||
Low Ovarian Reserve Treatment
by Tiana McLaren
Hi I was recently told I have one dominant follicle on my Left ovary and 14 follicles on my right which my GP tells me is poss POCS. My pathology results do not support or indicate this at all. I went to get a referral to see a fertility expert as my husband and I have been trying for 8 months. I am 30 yrs old and have been on the pill since I was about 17. The second doctor said I am not typically a PCOS patient as I have not got facial hair, acne or any of the other symptoms that go hand in hand with PCOS. He the referred me to get AMH test done this came back yesterday 3.7 the normal range apparently is (14-48). The results say anything <14 suggests low ovarian reserve but anything over 48> suggests PCOS is possible. I am very upset and confused. I am seeing fertility spec tomorrow but wanted some advice and guidance today as I have had little sleep over this and am worried I am never going to have children. Regards Tiana x
