Natual Endometriosis Help

I am 26years old. I have endometriosis (2.02 cm) in left ovary. I take progesterone pill prescribed by doctor to induce my periods almost in every month. Sometimes I had severe cramping.

I want to know that is this severe or mild endometriosis?

Can I get pregnant without any difficulties?

Normal endometrial thickness for a menstruating woman is, on average 1 centimeter. This thickness changes depending the phase of the menstrual cycle. For example, at pre-ovulation, the thickness of the uterus is about 0.5 cm. Post-ovulation, goes from 0.5 – 1.5 cm. This can even be greater, but it should decrease after the menses.

During the menses if the uterus does not completely empty its contents, debris and old clotted blood may remain and cause inflammation. Cleansing the uterus is very important making endometriosis worse.

The level of endometriosis, if it is severe or mild is determined by many types of tests like ultrasound or laparoscopy. Mild endometriosis is often characterized by less scar formation and adhesions, while severe endometriosis is widely spread and cause severe pain, bleeding and damage to the reproductive organs. Talk to your doctor to get more information about your specific case.

It is possible to get pregnant with endometriosis, but it really depend on where it is located and what kind of damage it has already caused to the left ovary. If your right ovary is fine, you can still get pregnant on that side.
