Ovitrell With Homeopathic Medicine, Is it safe?

I was on homeopathic medicines for infertility along with my husband, 2 months course all was fine but my obgyn gave me injections of Ovitrell to break my eggs during ovulation for fater conception. Is there a problem?

Ovitrell With Homeopathy

Ovitrell is a Choriogonadotropin alpha drug that belongs to a class of medications called gonadotropins. Choriogonadotropin alpha, or human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), is used as part of fertility treatment for women with ovarian dysfunction. It helps follicles mature and triggers ovulation, the release of mature eggs from the ovaries.

This medication does notinterfere with homeopathic treatment.

Homeopathic medicine is based on the administration of small amounts of highly diluted medicines in order to stimulate the body to heal itself and reach hormonal balance.

When allopathic medicines are introduced, the effect of homeopathy is less effective as the drug are more powerful and take over the chemical action within the body. In this case, taking Ovitrell will not allow the body to learn how to ovulate properly because the drug does it in its place.

It is best to give homeopathic medicine a chance for 4 months (at least) to establish healthy ovulation before resorting to allopathic treatments. This is because, the body needs 120 days to mature healthy eggs from follicle to ovulation.
