A Natural Approach To PCOD
by: Maria Gioia Atzori

This article explains what PCOS or PCOD is a what affects it has on a woman's fertility.

Polycystic ovary disorder (PCOD) is classified as a female endocrine disorder, where the female reproductive hormones are not balanced. It causes a number of symptoms and is responsible for low fertility. The most important aspect of PCOD is the inability to have a regular ovulation cycle. In women with PCOD, the ovary produces smaller follicles which do not mature egg due to hormonal dysfunction. This causes anovulatory cycles and amenorrhea or absent periods.

Medication can help re-establish the menstrual cycle, but most women experience side effects that can be even more problematic. Also, like in your case, the effect is only temporary. The best way to address PCOSD is to find a natural approach that supports regular ovulation cycles.

Looking into a natural approach for PCOD is always a most effective way to obtain long lasting results. By boosting fertility naturally, the body re-gains hormonal balance and regular ovulation cycles. A regular ovulatory cycle is essential in natural conception.
