I am 21 years old married for 2 years. I am suffering from HIRSUTISM since 6 years and I was advised to take aldactone and Fincar tabs. I'd regular periods after that. After marriage I consulted with a gynecologist.

The doctor took my scan and told me that my left ovary is polycystic and right ovary had 13mm follicle. The doctor prescribed krmson 35. After completing those tablets my periods were irregular for 5 months. I didn’t have periods for 3 months so my doc advised me to take DUPHASTON for 10 days den I got my periods.

The doctor than me to take clomifene citrate 50 mg from 3rd day of periods and has told to go for follicular study on the 14th day of period. The doctor has told if the follicle is above 18mm she'll give HCG injection(5000iui).

I want to conceive as soon as possible please advise me will I conceive this cycle???

Hi Khanum,

Your chances are good. Follow your doctor’s advice and try to relax.

Make sure to eat healthy by following the fertility diet.

Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water.

As Clomid may dry your cervical mucus, make sure to use Pre-seed during sex to increase your chances of conception. Pre-seed is the only sperm friendly lubricant that facilitates conception in women with poor fertile cervical mucus as a result of Clomid or other causes.

If you feel stressed out over this process, download The Cycle and Blood Mind-Body Fertility Program to support you.

fulgest 300 and lupride 0.5cc
by: Anonymous

Can you please tell me what is capsule fulgest 300 (progesterone) and injection lupride 0.5 cc and why are they used?

by: Maria Gioia Atzori

Fulgest contains progesterone and it is used to treat menstrual cycle dysfunction, estrogen dominance, infertility by supporting the second half of the menstrual cycle in women with short luteal phace, irregular menses, and pcos. It supports pregnancy and prevents early miscarriages. Natural progesterone is commonly manufactured from the yam family, Dioscorea. Dioscorea produces large amounts of a steroid called diosgenin, which can be converted into progesterone in the laboratory.

It should be taken during the second half of the mentrual cycle from after ovulation (day 14) until the end of the cycle (day 28).

Lupride injections are used to treat female endometriosis, a condition where the cells grow outside the uterus, like uterus, fallopian tubes, intestines, and ovaries. Lupride injection stop the growth of the endometrial cells and reduces the pain caused by this condition. Lupride is Leuprolide Acetate, a synthetic (man-made), that significantly reduces estrogen levels, used to treat infertility. This drug may pose serious side effects like severe headaches, irregular heartbeat, insomnia, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fainting, weight gain, osteoporosis (long term use), etc.

This drug regulates the secretion of gonadotropins luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) helping reduce high levels of estradiol and testosterone . It treats fibroids, precocious puberty, ovarian and breast tumors.
It is also used during IVF by following a specific protocol.

Many Blessings!
