Pregnancy After Sterilization

by Trasey
(Sunderland, UK)

Hi, I was sterilized after my 2nd child 15 years ago. I'm 45 and in great health and live with my partner who is 10 years younger. We would love to have a baby but don't know if there is any way round this due to my age and the past surgery. Can you please tell me if there are any possibilities at all out there. Thank you!

If you are still ovulating regularly and have not hormonal imbalances, you can get pregnant at age 45 after tubal ligation reversal surgery. Also, your husband has to heave adequate sperm count and produce healthy sperm for pregnancy to happen.

Make an appointment to talk to a surgeon that specializes in this type of procedure and that will look at your case and specific situation and tell you if your tubal ligation surgery can be reversed. In most cases it is possible to repair fallopian tubes that have been burned and tied.

This video will explain how this procedure works.

There is nothing that can be done naturally to reverse sterilization, but natural health can help you in many ways like supporting healthy ovulation and healthy menstrual cycle.
