How does progesterone affect fertility and what can I do to make sure my progesterone levels are normal using natural medicines? Is progesterone cream a good way to address low progesterone?

Also, I have read about Vitex Agnus Castus to increase progesterone levels, can you please tell me more?

Vitex or Progesterone for Fertility

Progesterone is the hormone for fertility and pregnancy. During the second half of the mentrual cycle and during pregnancy, progesterone is in charge. Both natural progesterone cream and Vitex Agnus Castus are wonderful natural methods to balance the production of progesterone versus estrogen. Women who suffer from low progesterone levels are most likely estrogen dominant, which means that the estrogen to progesterone is not in balance. Estrogen dominance is an epidemic condition in western society because of xenoestrogen that mimic the action of natural estrogen. Read more on this topic in my article on Xenoestrogen and Fertility.

Natural Progesterone Cream

Low progesterone can be detected by a blood test after ovulation or by charting fertility. If your luteal phase is less than 10 days, you may be suffering from luteal phase defect related to low progesterone levels. Women who have this problem are usually prescribed Clomid, but natural progesterone cream is also available that may help in preparing the uterine wall for implantation of the fertilized egg.
Natural progesterone cream can be used to help in cases of PMS, ovarian cysts, and preventing threatened abortions.
