Reiki For Infertility
by How To Give Reiki To A Woman Who Has Fertility Problems
Hi I am a Reiki master and practicing Reiki for a while. I want to give Reiki to a woman who has some medical problem in getting pregnant. I want to know how to give a Reiki to her so that her problem will get solved and she will get pregnant.
I have following queries.
1. When should I give a Reiki after or before intercourse?
2. How many times I should send her Reiki?
3. Is there any specific process which I need to follow?
Please answer all my queries.
Thanks in advance.
I would like to begin by saying that Reiki helps women who is trying to conceive to relax and release negative stagnant energy that becomes stuck within the energy field and should never be used in substitution to medical care. If your client has fertility issues, she should also consult with a doctor and use Reiki therapy a support.
When giving a Reiki treatment either in person or distance healing, it is best to follow the entire hands position protocol with special focus on the endocrine system.
Consider spending more time when treating the following areas (this works both for in person and distant Reiki healing):Crown Chakra (7th): Hypothalamus
Use the second head position (client is face up) by standing at the head of the person, cupping the head with your hands. Place the heels of your hands at the centre line of the crown. Make sure your hands extend down the side of the head towards the ears.
The hypothalamus in the center of the brain controls reproduction. It produces the hormone, gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH). GnRH signals the pituitary gland to produce hormones needed for the egg to mature.
Women who suffer from stress, migraine headaches before menses and amenorrhea will benefit from this hand position.Third Eye (6th ): Pituitary Gland
Use the first hand position with heels of your hands placed over the forehead. Gently place your hands on the person’s face (off the body position is nest to allow the person to breath freely).Make sure you index fingers and thumbs are touching.
The pituitary gland is located at the base of the skull between the optic nerves. This gland secretes follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and after ovulation, progesterone luteinizing hormone (LH). FSH and LH signal the ovaries to produce estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen thins the cervical mucus and, while progesterone prepares the uterus for the fertilized egg to implant and develop into a baby supporting the entire pregnancy.
Women with high FSH, PCOS and high prolactin levels may benefit from this hand position.Throat Chakra (5th ): Thyroid Gland
Thyroid imbalance complicates the process of getting pregnant. Hypothyroidism conditions are known to cause long menstrual cycles due to delayed ovulation. Anovulatory cycles are also common in women with hypo thyroid function.
Hyperthyroidism causes scanty periods and short cycles. Medical attention is always necessary in these cases. Reiki does not treat these conditions, but helps balance energy and decreases stress and nervousness. It also seems to facilitate calcium
absorption and weight control.
To treat thi area, place your hands while the client is facing up just below the neck line (clavicle). Rest your hands on the upper chest.Heart Chakra (4th ): Thymus
This area is the breast area (do not touch the breasts and use the off the body hand position). Cup the breasts from each hand making sure not to cross your hands. This position treats many body imbalances like lymphatic disorders, low immunity, fibrocystic breast disease, and premenstrual breast tenderness.
The thymus gland has a very important role in immunity during pregnancy. During pregnancy, fetus is not rejected by the mother’s immune system. The effect of pregnancy on the maternal immune system is the blockage of lymphocyte development, which occurs through thymic involution and bone marrow involution.
Using Reiki on this area of the body may help women who get pregnant and have immune system issues like pre-eclampsia and RH negative blood type carrying a Rh positive fetus. Again, Reiki should not substitute medical intervention and the need of medication, but can definitely assist the process helping for a smooth pregnancy without complication.Solar Plexus (3rd ): Adrenal Glands
The solar plexus is the area of the adrenal glands, which play a very important role in fertility as it relates to stress. Stress is known to cause high levels of the hormone cortisol, which can inhibit ovulation and cause delayed menses.
To treat the adrenal, make sure your hands are slightly above the waist as the fingers of one hand touch the heel of the other. The next step is to maintain this position a little bit lower below the waist. These hand positions treat help digestion, blood sugar regulation, constipation, and nutrient assimilation.Sacral Chakra (2nd ): Ovaries
This is the sixth Reiki position (front of the body) that treats the ovaries and the reproductive organs like the uterus, fallopian tubes, vagina, cervix, etc.
Place one hand pointing down towards the feet and one hand pointing up towards the head. One hand rests on the pubic bone to the left side, while the other rests on the pubic bone to the right side. The imbalances treated by this hand positions are: cystitis, yeast infections, menstrual problems, PCOS, ovarian cysts, blocked fallopian tubes, migraine headaches before menses, fibroids, endometriosis, heavy bleeding.
Do not send Reiki to this area during menstruation. The best time is anytime between 3 days before ovulation and 3 days after ovulation.Root Chakra (1st ): Testicles
Use the hands off position for this area, do not touch male testicles. This area helps increase male sexual stamina, erectile dysfunction and low sperm count. Continue placing your hands on the knees and the front of the feet.
Now repeat the same hand positions on the back, while the client is facing down, include the back of the legs and feet.
Terminate the treatment with a cleansing action and cutting excess ethereal cords you may sense.
Make sure to wash your hands promptly in cool running water and then cleanse the room.
