Secondary Infertility Age Factor

by Anu
(Mumbai India)

I am 43 female from India. I got married late and conceived at age 40 but due to some family problems I discontinued. Now, I am trying to conceive for 18 months. I conceived in December last year but had missed abortion having chromosomal problems. I am tired of Clomid and want to conceive naturally.

If you want to stop taking Clomid, make sure you discuss this issue with your doctor before using any natural approach.

At 43 with a history of chromosomal problems, it is important to detox as toxins can damage the DNA of the eggs and the sperm causing genetic mutations and chromosomal abnormalities in the embryo. It is also very important to supplement your diet with potent antioxidants and follow specific life style changes.

Step 1: Detox Your Body from Chemicals

If you read my article on fertility cleanse, you will know why natural health practitioners recommend couples who are trying to conceive to cleanse before getting pregnant. Chemicals enter your body on a daily bases from processed foods,, contaminated water, polluted air, medications, cosmetics and more.

Toxicity accumulates in your body over a number of years. Unfortunately your eggs are very delicate and can be easily affected and damaged by toxins in the body.

The Fertility Cleanse Kit is a complete fertility program that supports the body in cleansing both the liver and the uterus in preparation for healthy conception.

Step 2: Improve Egg Quality

The best way to improve the quality of your eggs is by supplementing your diet with specific fertility foods known to increase egg quality. These fertility nutrients will help your body increase egg quality naturally. They are:

Prenatal Multivitamins

Taking a multivitamins that contains food as source of minerals and vitamins is one of the best ways to increase egg quality and prepare the lining of the uterus for healthy implantation.
A major part of increasing egg health and preparing the uterine lining is to take a 100% organic food based prenatal multivitamin.

L-Arginine Increases Ovarian Response

Many research papers have now proven how L-Arginine plays a very important role in rejuvenation and on human fertility.

A study published in 1999 in the journal of human reproduction, showed how L-Arginine supplementation increases ovarian response, endometrial receptivity, and pregnancy rates in IVF patients. L-Arginine is known to increase blood circulation to the uterus and ovaries allowing nutrients to reach the developing follicles, thus increasing egg production and quality.

Antioxidants Help Prevent Genetic Damage

Taking high quality antioxidants makes a huge difference when preparing for conception. Antioxidants help improve your egg quality because help protect the DNA inside the eggs.

Antioxidants are necessary to help the body fight the damaging effects of free-radicals. Also, there are different kinds of antioxidants and they work best when taken together. This fact has been studied and proven by world renowned antioxidant specialist Dr. Lester Packer.
So, when choosing a supplement, make sure it contains all the required antioxidants that work in synergy with each other.

Maca Supports Hormonal balance

Maca is a very powerful fertility super-food for both men and women. Dr. Chacon studied maca and its effects on fertility and found that maca increases egg follicle maturation and follicles numbers in women. While in men, maca increases sperm count and sperm motility.

Royal Jelly Extends Eggs Life

Royal jelly is the food of the queen bee, who deposits thousands of egg all her life. This amazing super-food should be taken for at least two months before trying to conceive in order to support healthy egg production.

Clomid only stimulates the ovaries to produce more eggs, but it does nothing about the quality of your eggs and ultimately can cause severe side effects after long term use.

All the above remedies are all part of the Egg Health Kit, which is a safe and natural way to help support the body make healthy eggs naturally without side effects.

Step 3: Stimulate Ovulation Gently and Naturally with Vitex

Women who need Clomid do not ovulate regularly. One of the side effects of this drug is that it can cause the ovaries to become depleted and decrease follicle development and egg production. Women who stop taking Clomid and decide to take a more natural approach to ovulation find benefit with Vitex herb remedy. Vitex is known to decrease high levels of FSH and high levels of prolactin that inhibit ovulation.

Vitex supports hormonal balance in the body by having an effect on the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis correcting the problem at the source.

1. Regulate the menstrual cycle

2. Treats luteal phase defect

3. Promotes ovulation

4. Increases progesterone levels

5. Treats absent periods

6. Regulates the pituitary gland

7. Inhibits the release of FSH

8. Reduces PCOS

9. Eases PMS symptoms

Vitex works very well when in combination with other hormonal lancing herbs like:

Tribulus terrestris

This herbal remedy increases the amount of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) produced by the pituitary gland, which indirectly boosts progesterone production necessary for maintaining a pregnancy.

Rhodiola rosea

This remedy helps regain regular cycles after loss of menstrual cycles.

Raspberry leaf

This herb is an herbal tonic for the uterus. It is also rich in minerals, vitamins, and nutrients that promote uterine muscle strengths.

Alfalfa is a nutrient rich herb which contains vitamins A, D, E, K, minerals like iron, which is essential for healthy ovulation.

Dong Quai

This herb promotes blood flow to the reproductive area. It is known to stimulate absent or scanty period. It treats iron deficiency and anemia.

This herb is a wonderful uterine tonic, increasing circulation to the uterus, while helping nourish the nervous system and promote relaxation.

Ass seen earlier, this root supports hormonal balance and very useful fertility tonic.

PS: Never take Vitex and Clomid together.

Step 4: Fertility Monitoring

If you are not sure of your ability to ovulate you need to monitor your cycle. At 43 you really need to know this information if you want to be able to achieve pregnancy. Use a fertility monitor or take you basal body temperature (BBT) to chart your cycle.

Fertility Blessings!
