Steps To Get Pregnant Faster

by TJ
(NC)

My partner and I have been trying to conceive for about 11 months now, my periods have been coming within 28 and 34 days every month and it has been 11 months since I have been off my birth control pills. What are the best steps we could take to conceive faster? I do not drink or smoke although my partner sometimes drinks and does smoke black and milds. It has been a very emotional and rough 11 months. I need to know what are our best steps to increase our chances of getting pregnant.

Depending on your age you may want to talk to your doctor and have some preliminary fertility testing done (both you and your partner). I think that after actively trying for 11 months, it is a good idea to check for things like sperm count, sperm motility, hormone levels, blocked fallopian tubes and ovarian reserve.

If everything looks fine, these are the easiest steps any couple who is trying to conceive can follow in order to increase the odds of conceiving naturally:

1. Do A Fertility Cleanse

It is very important to eliminate toxins before pregnancy because these toxins can affect hormone levels, sperm count, sperm motility, ovulation, embryo implantation, and baby development. Both partner will greatly benefit from doing a fertility cleanse before conception.
Lean why doing fertility cleanse is so important.

2. Take Fertility Vitamins

Many fertility issues, like unexplained infertility, irregular periods, hormonal imbalance, poor egg quality and low sperm count, are related to vitamins and minerals deficiency. Simply by supplying the body with the correct missing key nutrients, fertility can be restored in order to achieve conception and a healthy pregnancy.
Learn why most couples need fertility vitamins.

3. Monitor Your Cycle

Couples who monitor their cycle and have sex at the right time of the month, get pregnant faster. You need to know if and when you are ovulating and you need to be diligent about this process. I recommend doing fertility charting by taking your basal body temperature and checking your fertile mucus every day during your monthly cycle. The benefit of doing fertility charting is that you can detect any problem regarding your ovulation, the length of the luteal phase, etc. If you see a fertility doctor and provide your fertility charts, he or she will be able to help you address your problem more accurately.
I like Ovacue fertility monitor because it detect your hormonal levels in your saliva giving important information about your hormones and your cycle, but most importantly it can tell you as far as 5 to 7 days in advance when you are about to ovulate.

4. Increase Fertile Mucus
If you do not have fertile mucus that looks like egg white when you are about to ovulate, you will not get pregnant. The sperm cannot survive in the acidic environment of your vagina without this type of mucus.

5. Relax

6. Exercise

7. Sleeping For Fertility
Women and men who are trying to conceive need to sleep 8-9 hours at night in a dark room away from electromagnetic radiation of TV, radio, digital clocks, cell phones and computers. Keep these items at least 3 feet away from your bed or better put them in another room. The best time to have sex is in the morning and you should go to steep no later than 9:30 PM in order to support your hormones.

8. Having Sex
The missionary position is always the best one to use when trying to conceive. Avoid oral sex because saliva damages the sperm. Also, have sex every other day in order to make sure that the sperm supply is high. After sex remain still on your back for at least 30 minutes.

I hope this helps you.

At 26 you still have time to do a 4 months pre conception period and try to get pregnant on your own. The choice is entirely up to you. If you were over 35, it would be a good idea to talk to a fertility specialist asap, but you still have some time.

My advise is to chart your cycle, this is very very important, in fact you may find that maybe you are just missing the right time.

Make sure you know which your fertile symptoms are and make sure to have sex on the first day you detect fertile cervical mucus, also make sure to have sex the day before ovulation and not the day of ovulation (it may just be too late).
The best time to have sex is 1-2 days before you ovulation provided that you have lots of cervical fertile mucus. If you do not have fertile mucus during ovulation you may not get pregnant.

Learn more about charting your cycle or use a fertility monitor like Ovacue, that tells you 5 days in advance when you are about to ovulate. This fertility monitor is very useful in planning intercourse.

Also, having several months of fertility charting done will help your doctor immensely. Fertility charts may show hormonal issues, poor ovulation, short luteal phase.

When a couple cannot conceive, it is also possible for the male sperm count to be too low. It is possible to test for sperm count at home. This will save you time to know if there is a possible issue with the sperm.

So, taking some time (4 to 6 months) to work on boosting your fertility naturally at your age is a good idea. You might just get pregnant!

Consider that it may take a little bit longer than three months to get pregnant. Ovacare tablets contain supplements that can help increase your fertility and support your ovulation, but you need to give your body time to adjust.

Also, make sure that you are timing intercourse accordingly to your most fertile period and that you produce enough fertile cervical mucus. Not having enough good quality fertile mucus prior to ovulation can decrease your fertility. In fact you need to have sex the first day of you fertile mucus and continue until the day before ovulation.

If you don't produce fertile cervical mucus that looks like raw egg white, consider supplementing your diet with FertileCM.

Timing intercourse is key to getting pregnant.

The fertility treatment will do its job, but you need to do the rest.

Consider using Ovacue Fertility Monitor to detect your most fertile days and get pregnant faster. Ovacue is a saliva-based electronic fertility monitor designed specifically for trying-to-conceive couples. With this fertility monitor, you can predict your ovulation date up to seven days in advance giving you more opportunities to conceive each month. I recommend Ovacue because it's very precise and has been clinically proven to be 98.3% accurate in monitoring ovulation in studies sponsored by the National Institute of Health.
