Trying To Conceive After 40

by Alice Grey

Can I Trying To Conceive After 40 with Fibroids?

I have always been easy to get pregnant, until now. I'm 41 and my husband and I have decided to try one more time but it's been extremely difficult.

I just found out I have 2 small fibroids inside the uterus and my husband has a large hernia in his testicles. He's afraid to have it removed.

Could these factors in our in inability to conceive? And. Is one worse than the other?

Uterine fibroids can be a cause of infertility, but there are many women that can get pregnant with small fibroids.

Fibroids And Fertility

It is possible to use natural healing methods like self fertility massage with castor oil packs and herbal remedies or homeopathy to shrink large fibroids to the point that they are no longer a problem if you get pregnant or that can be easily removed surgically without leaving too much scarring.

Small fibroids may not be a problem depending where they are located in the uterus.

My advise is to look for a natural treatment first and think about surgery, only if everything else fails.

Very large fibroids should be removed as they can cause problems during pregnancy and increase chances of hemorrhaging during delivery. The best approach is to utilize a natural method to shrink fibroids to a size where they can be either no longer a threat to pregnancy or to a size that allows an easier removal through surgery or cauterization.

Your doctor should be able to provide this information.

Fibroids that change the shape of the uterine cavity are called sub-mucous or are inside the cavity itself decrease fertility and prevent implantation.

Other types of fibroids do not decrease fertility. These are those that are within the wall of the uterus and do not change the shape of the cavity. Those that protrude outside the uterine wall, called sub-serosal fibroids, also do not decrease fertility. Removal of these types of fibroids does not increase fertility and natural treatments are more indicated.

There is a great natural approached to uterine fibroids called, EndoWise Remedy Kit.

In order to increase your chances of getting pregnant with small fibroids, these natural therapies can help increase the chances of pregnancy when suffering from uterine fibroids.

Age Factor

Many women do get pregnant in their early 40s and carry healthy pregnancy to term. It is also true that it will take longer to get pregnant if there are any gynecological issues.

Hernia and Male Fertility

As far as hernia and male fertility is concerned, there are certainly different degrees of severity. For an inguinal hernia to descend into the scrotum it takes times and many men do not consider the possible effects on their fertility, but it does.

Inguino-scrotal hernias can get impacted or strangulated leading to a medical emergency. When this happens the blood flow to the testicles is compromised causing a decreased sperm production.

This only happens on the side where the affected testicle is present. The other testicles should be fine.

Your doctor will assess the severity and recommend surgery accordingly.

If surgery is necessary, sperm production will return to normal levels within time.

Many alternative practitioners recommend using a natural approach to speed up healing after surgery. These alternative methods include:

herbal medicine, homeopathic remedies, acupuncture and life style changes like avoid wearing tight panties and very hot temperatures like saunas.

Some hernias can cause low sperm count, which in most cases can be improved by taking fertility vitamins like FertilAid for Men that supports sperm count and sperm motility.

Also, herbal remedies like Fertile XY can help greatly in this situation because they support sperm production and seminal emissions promoting hormonal balance and healthy erections.

Make sure to consult with your doctor before using herbal remedies if you are taking any prescription medications.

Fertility Blessings!
