TTC After Chemo?

by Claudia
(South Carolina)

I am 26yrs old I began taking the depo shot when I was 20yrs old for about 2 yrs then discontinued after meeting my husband, he is 34 yrs old and we've been ttc for around 4 yrs. Since then I've had two miscarriages one in Sep '2007 the other Dec '2008 which I was told was a molar pregnancy.

With this miscarriage my hcg levels did not go down as it normally would I was then diagnosed with Gestational Trophoblastic Disease a form of cancer early 2009 and was given multiple dosage of Methotrexate chemo by injection and had a D&C performed and my beta returned back to 0 they advised to get back on depo.

I was also advised to take the hpv vaccine which I did. After having blood work done to make sure my hcg levels were normal I was told that my immunoglobulin levels is abnormal and to follow up with a regular dr she was my gyn dr.

Around March 2011 I finally began having my period it is not as normal as I would like it when it come to the color and how long it is but it does come regularly.

I would like to try the fertility cleanse but is it still OK to use with all my medical history?

Also I was thinking of doing a colon cleanse prior to using the fertility cleanse should I reconsider?

Please help me we want a baby so bad but with the miscarriages and all the horrible things I'm hearing about the depo I'm beginning to lose hope.

A fertility cleanse is not only safe but also indicated due to the high level of toxicity your body has been put through. You are young and your body has an amazing ability to purify, cleanse and rejuvenate when given the right nutrients. Herbal remedy in conjunction with homeopathy would suit your case.

Doing a colon cleanse before the fertility cleanse is also a good idea. If you are looking for a good colon cleanse I would recommend drnatura colon cleanse and toxin out program.
It will really help your body eliminate all the drug residue that may still be lingering around in your system.

After this you will be able to do the fertility cleanse for 2 months at least. The time to put in cleansing before conception will be worth it, I promise. The fertility cleanse is very important, do not miss this step as this cleanse is specific for the uterus and the liver. Cleansing the uterus is very important before conception especially if there is an history of miscarriage. You will feel amazing in every way!

Please do not try to conceive while cleansing and do not take any medication while cleansing. If you have to take any prescription medication, talk to your doctor and ask if you can do the cleansing to avoid herb drug interaction. The reason for not ttc while cleansing is that the toxins released by your body during the cleansing can affect the baby.

Another approach that can be implemented once the cleansing is completed and you begin to try to conceive is the homeopathic fertility program.

This consists of taking homeopathic remedies at specific dates during the monthly cycle for a period of 4 months while trying to conceive.
Based on your information and history the following protocol will suit your situation:

Carcinosin 200CH at night on day 7 (after your period), one dose only on the first month.

This remedy is used to undo the negative effects of personal or hereditary cases of tumours and cancers.

Folliculinum 200CH one morning dose on day 10 of the menstrual cycle. This should be taken on the 10th day of month 1, month 2, month 3, and month 4.

This remedy stimulates ovulation and healthy egg production. It is particularly important in those who have poor ovarian function.

Thuja 200CH one morning dose on day 14 of the menstrual cycle. This should be taken on the 14th day of month 1, month 2, month 3, and month 4.

This remedy helps those who have poor ovulation after the birth control pill , and that have had ovulation suppression or hyper-stimulation from fertility drugs. Thuja is indicated for those who have a tendency to miscarrying in the early months. It also undoes the side effects of vaccinations.

Natrum Muriaticun 30CH one morning dose once a week (month 1,2,3,4).

This remedy is indicated in cases of pregnancy loss, grief, despair, loss of not being pregnant, poor and mental and emotional suppression. It also helps increase cervical mucus production and regulates the cycle.

Borax 30CH one dose once a day in the morning (month 1,2,3,4).

This remedy is often associated with vaginal Candida and unhealthy mucus discharges that make sperm's environment too acidic and hostile.

Sepia 6CH one dose once a day at night (month 1,2,3,4).

Sepia is suited for women suffering from infertility and recurrent miscarriages and pregnancy loss. It acts especially on the portal system, and on venous congestion often related to toxicity leading to hormonal imbalance. This remedy helps hormonal balance and menstrual regularity. It also tones the uterus for a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

You can find these remedies at or contact a local homeopath for more support.

I hope these information helps you get started. If you need any more advice or support, do not hesitate to post more questions here.
