Uterine fibroids - flooding menses

While doing a search for homeopathic remedies I came across your website. I realize this is a website for fertility, pregnancy issues, but am hoping for a remedy solution for uterine fibroids.

I am 52 years of age. And for the past 2 years have been experiencing very heavy bleeding with "flooding" menses for about a year. I get anemic (pale skin, out of breath) for several days after. Having been using for the past year Carlson's Blood Nutrients to help me recover from this symptom.

However, the flooding that lasts for about 24 hours (xtra super tampons, xtra absorbent pads used almost hourly basis) is very troubling. The fibroid is 6 cm - diagnosed with a transvaginal ultrasound.

I have a period every 25- 28 days, with bleeding for about 4-5 days. No bleeding in between periods. I don't suffer from bad cramps like I used to, although usually a lower slight back pain with mild cramps. Occasionally take acetimophen, if needed.
When the heavier bleeding first started about 2 years ago, I would have a tearing, burning, twisting pain in lower left abdomen for about 2 weeks. After 9 months with the pain, it vanished after starting on the Carlson's blood nutrients.

The gynecologist recommends a hysterectomy. I had been on compounded progesterone, which has helped only minimal - may be that the dosage needs to be increased.


Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I really want to avoid that route if possible. I use homeopathic pellets for a number of symptoms for family, but I just can't seem to find any for my particular health issue.

Thuja 6C: this remedy is useful for those who have a tendency of growing fibroids and other growths life warts.

Combination remedy containing: Silica, Hepar Sulphuris Calcarea, Gunpowder, and Myrristica Sebifera in potency 6X need is often used to cleanse the uterus from debris.

Oil Pulling: This type of treatment is used in Ayurveda to remove toxins from the body and assist women obtain hormonal balance. I find it amazing and so easy to use. It can be very effective in helping reduce fibroids.
It consists on swirling 1 tablespoon of oil of Olive, Sesame oil (what ever you prefer) in your mouth every morning after flossing and brushing your teeth for 15-20 minutes. Make sure to spit it out, rinse your mouth and you are done!
