Bilateral Cornual Blockage
Hi, in my HSG, I have been told as Bilateral Cornual Blocked. What’s the treatment for this? Is this a serious problem? I am worried.
Answer:Your tubes are blocked where they meet with uterus (cornual end), this prevents the sperm from reaching the fallopian tube and fertilize the egg. It is possible to unblock the fallopian tubes through surgery, you r doctor will advise on your case. The success rate on this type of surgery depends on how healthy your fallopian tubes are. That is, if they are only blocked, but otherwise healthy, the surgery success rate is much higher than if the tubes are distorted or have scar tissue in other areas.
In this case, if the surgery is successful, pregnancy is expected within a year. If you do not conceive during this time, your doctor may recommend IVF.
Alternative medicine also offers options to treat blocked fallopian tubes before surgery. If you want to try an alternative approach before resorting to surgery, I would recommend the Fallopian Wise Fertility Kit and use it for at least 3-4 months before re-testing. This kit has been designed to help your fallopian tubes clear. The kit contains enzymatic therapy, herbal remedies, castor oil packs with instruction of how to do self-fertility massage in order to help unblock the fallopian tubes naturally. This natural methods work together to support your body in a very gentle and natural way. Many women have had great success using this kit, I hope it will help you, too.
