Can I have my baby?

by Tricia
(Chaguanas, Trinidad)

Hi, I am 32 yrs old my husband is also 32 and we have been trying to have a baby for about 7 years now. I have a very high FSH level of 10.18 and my doctor told me my tubes are open but that it is not working. I tried ICSI but I got 1 follicle and did not get any eggs. My fertility doctor said that I might have ovulated already so they did and IUI instead.

I really need to have my baby so can you tell me if it is possible for me to have my baby?

Hi Tricia,

If your tubes are open and you do not have any other medical conditions that can prevent you from getting pregnant, you should be able to conceive naturally once you balance your hormones and lower your high FSH level.

Naturally in a woman of 32 this is still possible as long as you are willing to take the time to make some changes in your life style.

High FSH levels indicate that your ovaries need increased amount of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in order to develop healthy follicles and mature viable eggs each months. It's an indication of poor ovulation cycles. If you do not ovulate regularly, your fertility decreases and your ability to conceive is impaired. In order to improve your situation and support your ovaries in making healthy eggs and balance your hormones, consider supplementing your diet with fertility vitamins like FertilAid for women.

Trying to conceive with high FSH levels makes it difficult to identify your ovulation date and your most fertile time of month, the time you’re most likely to become pregnant.

FertilAid contains important fertility minerals, viamins, and especially fertility herbs like Vitex agnus castus. Vitex has been extensively studied
in Europe for its properties in lowering high FSH and high prolactin levels in women with poor follicle development. Vitex is a hormone regulator that stimulates the pituitary gland in releasing luteinizing hormone (LH), decreases the secretion of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), and promotes ovulation.

This herbal remedy is the most researched in connection with the treatment of infertility in women with luteal phase defect, low progesterone, irregular menses, high FSH, high prolactin, poor ovulatory cycles and amenorrhea.

Also, FertileCM supplement, when taken in conjunction with FertileAid for women helps produce healthy fertile cervical mucus. This type of mucus is necessary during conception in order to keep the sperm healthy, viable and motile in your reproductive tract, increasing your chances of getting pregnant every month.

You should try to have sex before ovulation, preferably 24-48 hours before you ovulate. Having fertile cervical mucus ensures that the sperm is healthy and capable of fertilizing the egg as soon as it is released from the ovary. When the egg is released it is viable only for 12 hours and it begins to degenerate if not fertilized. Having sex the day of ovulation may be too late.

If you need help determining the best time to have sex in order to conceive, I recommend using Ovacuefertility monitor in conjunction with doing fertility charting. Fertility charting teaches you how to take your basal body temperature each day to detect ovulation. It also teaches how to chart your cervical mucus and other important fertility signs.

Charting your cycle also tells you if you are ovulating and if the fertility vitamins are working for you. You will notice that after 3 months of taking fertility vitamins your cycles will become more and more regular and you will hopefully be able to ovulate and conceive on your own.

Fertility Blessings!

Hi, this is Tricia again, I really like the advice that you gave me and I am going to start with the products that you recommended and I pray to god that someday soon someone will call me mummy. I have been looking to have my baby for so long that all that matters to me is being a mom, something that is supposed to be so natural for everyone is so difficult for me. I have a high FSH but my period is like clockwork it's always on time I have no problems with late period I actually have a regular 28 days cycle which is so hard for me to understand why it is so difficult for me to have a baby.

I want to thank you for giving me some hope that I can lower my FSH with these fertility medications and hope to god that I will be writing back soon with good news.

Kind Regards,

Getting Pregnant With High FSH

Hi Tricia,

If your periods are regular, that's a very good news as this is an indication your imbalance is not so severe. Make sure to chart your cycle. If you ovulate and have fertile cervical mucus around ovulation, you will get pregnant. Make sure to relax and to eat really healthy. Your husband should also follow the fertility diet and supplement with fertility vitamins for men to support healthy sperm production.

I hope you will get pregnant soon!
