I have been married for 4 years. I have a history of polycystic ovaries before marriage which got cured.
Initially I didn't conceived because my husband had lower sperm count.
I having polycystic my serum prolactin and LH levels are normal but the ultrasound report showed enlarge ovaries and follicles but the doctor gave medicine to get pregnant and she said that the treatment will be done for 9 months and the last 3 months she'll give me injections in case I didn't conceived till then.
I'm afraid now whether she giving the suitable medicine?
Answer To Enlarged Ovaries:Your doctor told you that it will take 9 months to complete the treatment, so you need to discuss this with her during your next consultation. Explain clearly your concerns about the treatment. You see, the fact that you are not pregnant yet is not an indication that the treatment is not working for you. Getting pregnant naturally may take up to 6 months in couples who are actively trying to conceive. So, talking to your doctor will help you better understand if your body is responding to the treatment and what you can do to improve your situation. Also, ask your doctor if the enlarged ovaries and follicles are a side effect of your treatment and if you can follow a more natural approach instead. It is possible to address ovarian problems naturally, but not at the same time as taking conventional medicine.
If you are trying to conceive, I would recommend you download my
FREE Guide To Fertility Charting & Natural Conception and begin charting your cycle. This will give you a clear indication if your treatment
is working because you will be able to ovulate each month. Also, by detecting ovulation through fertility charting, you will be able to make love at the right time and maximize your possibility to conceive each month. Did you know that even if a couple does everything right, there are about 25-35% chances of conceiving each month? So, everything may be proceeding well, it will just take a little longer.
There are a few things you can do naturally to improve your situation.
Step 1:Follow the fertility diet.
1. Avoid coffee and alcohol.
2. Minimize the intake of refined carbohydrates like white pasta, rice, bread, cookies, etc.
3. Begin your day with protein to keep blood sugar in balance.
4. Do not eat trans fats and processed foods.
5. Do not eat too much dairy products.
6. If you eat meat make sure it is white meat that is raised organically.
7. Increase your fiber intake by eating lentils, garbanzo beans, green leafy vegetables, etc.
8. Eat liquorice and one table spoon to fax see oil each day.
9. Drink lots of purified water each day.
10. Have a
fertility smoothie each day to boost your fertility.
Step 2:Practice moderate exercise daily, I recommend doing
fertility yoga. This is a very good way to release stress and increase circulation to the ovaries and help balance your hormones.
Step 3Relax and support your emotional well being. Often enough, the stress of trying to conceive causes many women to have delayed ovulation. Make sure to have a stress-free life as much as you can. I would recommend learning about the
circle & bloom meditation fertility program.
Fertility Blessings!
