Fertility Hep: FAQ
I Have Endometriosis Can I Get Pregnant?
Endometriosis is a condition that can cause serious damage to the lining of the uterus. Women with endometriosis have decreased fertility because the embryo often cannot implant itself in the lining of the uterus due to scar tissue and inflammation left behind by endometriosis. It is important to deal with endometriosis before attempting to conceive. If you have endometriosis and are trying to conceive, you can do many things naturally to help improve your situation. I would recommend learning more about the EndoWise Fertility Kit.
Do Fibroids Increase The Risk Of Miscarriage?
Fibroids can cause many issues during pregnancy depending on their type, location and size. Most doctors will recommend removing a large fibroids (over 5 cm) before getting pregnant. When a fibroid is large enough, it becomes vascularized and begins to draw blood away from the uterus to fuel its own growth.
This process takes blood away from a developing embryo, increasing the risk of losing the pregnancy. A small fibroid may not be a problem, but it can increase in size during pregnancy.
Make sure to talk to your doctor about your specific situation. Your doctor will be able to recommend the best course of action for your case.
If the fibroid should be removed, the Uterien Artery Embolization (UAE) procedure is used to cut off the blood supply to the fibroid causing it to shrink. This type of procedure is most likely recommended to women who want to get pregnant.
Can Fibroids Be Treated Naturally?
Yes, they can in most cases. Each woman is different, so talk to a health care practitioner that can help you. The cause of uterine fibroids is unknown. However, their growth has been linked to high estrogen levels.
Natural therapies like herbal remedies support the body in eliminating excess estrogen to help shrink fibroids and maintain a healthy uterine ling environment.
Other therapies include doing self-fertility massage with castor oil packs to help soften the tissues and stimulate normal blood flow within the uterus. You can find more information on these natural therapies for supporting a healthy uterus like, UterineWise Kit.
I Am Over 45, Can I Still Get Pregnant?
Most women over 45 have poor egg quality and may suffer from hormonal imbalance, called perimenopause. If you are over 45, you can still get pregnant, but it will be harder because you have less time available. If you are 45 and want to get pregnant, talk to your doctor about having fertility testing done up ASAP to know if you can conceive.
If you still have periods and are ovulating, you can improve the quality of your eggs and get pregnant naturally. The problem with advanced maternal age is that nobody knows when your body is naturally scheduled to go into menopause.
If you are scheduled by your genetic make-up to reach menopause at 50-52, you still have 5-7 years of fertility. If your mother went into menopause early, changes are that you will too. So you may have only a few years of fertility left.
If you are 40-45 and are still ovulating, my advice is to use Ovacue Fertility Monitor to increase your chances of conceiving. Ovacue is very accurate and easy to use.
It is ideal for every woman who wants to get pregnant fast, but especially for women over 40 because their changes of conception are less each month. In my opinion, Ovacue takes the guess work away from TTC and gives you piece of mind that you are doing all you can to conceive each month without wasting any time.
My Tubes Are Blocked, What Can I Do?
If you have blocked fallopian tubes, you may need IVF treatments, but before you go there, you can try to unblock your fallopian tubes naturally. Many women have had successful results using natural methods to unblock their fallopian tubes. Of course, each case is different and the cause of why your fallopian tubes are blocked can also change the outcome.
If your tubes are blocked due to fluid build-up, called hydrosalpinx, you have higher chances of unblocking them with natural means. If you have severe endometriosis and a lot of scar tissue causing blockage in your tubes, your chances of success are lower. My advice is not to give up and give natural health a try because it can really help.
Some women can unblocked their fallopian tubes naturally by using a variety of natural techniques like massage, acupuncture, herbal remedies, homeopathy, herbal tampons, enzymatic therapy and castor oil packs.
Blockage of the fallopian tubes prevents fertilization and puts you at higher risk of having a tubal or ectopic pregnancy.
If you know you have blocked fallopian tubes, do not try to conceive naturally until you know they are unblocked. Learn more about blocked fallopian tubes.
Can I Get Pregnant Naturally After Tubal Ligation?
No. In order to get pregnant after a tubal ligation surgery, you need to have a tubal ligation reversal surgery to allow conception.
Talk to your doctor about your chances of conceiving after this type of procedure.
I Have Poor Egg Quality, What Does This Mean?
It means that your eggs may not be healthy enough to be fertilized or to develop into a healthy embryo. Some remain smaller and do not mature. Egg quality generally begins to decline after 35, but poor egg quality is seen in younger women as well as in women close to menopause.
The quality of your eggs is determined by many factors, like your age, your level of toxicity, your genetic make-up, your nutrition and life style habits. For example smoking and drinking alcohol decreases egg quality. There are natural supplements that can support your body in making healthy eggs.
Learn more about the OveWise Kit. This kit will help improve your egg quality to get pregnant naturally or if you want to prepare for IVF treatments.
Does Vitex Work?
Vitex has many benefits for women who have hormonal issues, but it is not suited for all infertility cases. Vitex is often added to many fertility formulas, like FertileXX, as it helps support regular ovulation cycles.
If in doubt, ask your doctor about taking herbal remedies and never take Vitex if you are taking Clomid.
