Getting Pregnant After Sterilization
I got sterilised 7 years ago and now wish to have another baby. Is it possible to get pregnant with little help, but without reversing the sterilization?
No, you need a sterilization reversal surgery in order to achieve pregnancy again.
There are no known natural methods to reverse sterilization. Surgery is the only way.
The success rate of the reversal surgery is not always 100%. How successful tubal ligation reversal surgery will be depends on what method it was used to ligate the tubes in the first place.
There are also other variables to consider on tubal ligation reversal surgery, like your age, the health of your eggs, if your tubes are clear, and if you suffer from pelvic inflammation for women. Women who have tubal ligation reversal surgery may be at risk for ectopic or tubal pregnancy as the fallopian tube may become scarred as a result of the surgery.
