by Gopi
(Hyderabad, India)

Last Month my wife got ovulation in Left Fallopian Tube (Her Right Fallopian Tube is blocked) and the follicle is in good size so we thought it is better to go for IUI and we did that. But she has not conceived now.

Can you please let us know why this has happened and for the first time of IUI does it will give 100% result to get conceived.

Thanks, Gopi

Hi Gopi,

I am sorry to hear your wife’s fallopian tube is blocked. It is possible in some cases to unblock fallopian tubes naturally. You can find more information on You Can Unblock Your Fallopian Tubes And Conceive Naturally Here.

If this is not possible IUI or IVF cycles are the option.

Unfortunately IUI are not 100% successful as there are many factors that can affect its results. Most of these factors are under a doctor control and there is nothing that can be done.
The reported success rates of IUI are about 20%, but this number can be high or lower depending on many factors.

IUI Success Rates And Female Age

Age plays a big part in IUI success rate. In women over 40, the rate of IUI treatments is lower than in younger women.

Most doctors recommend a number of 3-4 cycles. This increases your chances of pregnancy.

IUI Success Rates And Male Fertility

Also IUI success rates depend on the levels of male fertility. Severe male infertility that consists of very low sperm count, motility and morphology has a very low IUI rate of success.

If this is the case sperm quality can be improved naturally by supplementing with specific fertility vitamins to boost overall male fertility, to increase sperm count and to improve sperm motility.

IUI Success Rates And Hostile Cervical Mucus

IUI treatment is often recommended in cases of hostile cervical mucus. Women, who take fertility drugs like Clomid to stimulate ovulation, often suffer from poor fertile cervical mucus production.

It is possible to increase hostile cervical mucus naturally by supplementing with FertileCM. This supplement is specifically designed for women who need to increase fertile mucus quality and who are preparing for IUI cycles. FertileCm also helps embryo implantation.

Fertility Blessings!
