Natural herbs for birthcontrol

by Rizwana

How can I control birth by using natural herbs & which herbs?

When considering using herbs for contraception please consider that there is very little scientific evidence proving that herbs are 100% capable of preventing pregnancy.
Having said that, herbs can in many women work in suppressing ovulation thus preventing pregnancy.

If you do not want to get pregnant under any circumstances herbal contraceptive methods will not give you the grantee that you will not get pregnant , so they are not recommended.

I would consider using a natural family planning method instead. By charting your cycle you learn your fertile time of the month and can avoid intercourse during this time. This methods is very effective and reliable. Do some research on Learning the Billings Ovulation Method.

If you are completely sure that herbal remedies are what you want, wild yam and wild carrot seeds are know herbal contraceptives, but talk to an herbalist first. Each woman's body is different and what works for one will not work for the next.

Also, if you are planning to get pregnant in the future, using herbal contraceptive may cause an imbalance that can lead to infertility.

Herbs are great healers, but should be used wisely.

All the best!
