by Y

I had a tubal ligation done about 3 years ago, I have decided to have this reversed, I know medical aid does not cover this and I will have to pay for this myself. Can you recommend someone within the Durban area

Reversing Tubal Ligation
by: Maria Gioia Atzori

The followings are considering factors for having tubal ligation reversal done successfully.

1. How long ago the tubal ligation reversal was done. Some women had their Fallopian tubes cut, tied, cauterized or non-surgically blocked. The type of procedure used will make a difference in how successful the revels will be.

2. Where in your fallopian tubes the tubal ligation was done.

3. How much of your fallopian tube is left.

4. How healthy your fallopian tubes are right now.

5. Your age.

Pregnancy rates after a tubal ligation reversal are significantly higher IVF, having the procedure done does not guarantee that you will become pregnant.

Often time scarring formation on the fallopian tube is the problem.

When you talk to your doctor make sure to ask all the important questions about the procedure, recovery time, drug used, and success rate.

Watch this video to help you:

After surgery consider the following:
1. Do not drive right after surgery.
2. Give yourself 6 weeks to recover.
3. Consider that your period could be late or early.
4. Do not use a tampons after the first couple of cycles after tubal ligation reversal.
5. Avoid intercourse the first 6 weeks.

Important homeopathic remedies to be taken daily for a week after surgery are:

Arnica montana 200CH to be taken for swelling and bruising

Bellis Perennis 200CH for internal organ damage

Silica 200CH to prevent and repair scar tissue

Thiosinaminum 6C daily for three - six months to repair scar damage to the fallopian tube.

Calendula cream on the incision to prevent infection

All the best!
