Tubal Ligation Reversed: How To Know If It Worked
by Michelle Oosthuizen
(Pinetown South Africa)
I had a sterilisation procedure done about 18 years ago. I then went for a reversal operation about 10 years ago. The information that I received from the first gynae that I saw said that the Fimbria had been tied off during the sterilisation and there was not much that could be done. The second gynae that I went to then did an operation on me to reverse the sterilisation and confirmed that the tubes were open after the surgery was done. What would be the best way for me to find out the exact state of my reproductive organs including the tubes and the fimbria?
